I am Sylvain Deloux.
I live in Paris, I love cats and Japan.

I have been passionate about IT since I was little. I started programming in BASIC on Amstrad CPC. Before arriving on PHP, I went through QBasic, Pascal and even Assembler. Then, I discovered PHP in 2000, and I developed some websites about cinema and hacking. In 2002, I launched a small community website, which allowed me to meet other people around Web development and to obtain my 1st employment in this domain.

After having worked in different structures (Web agency, large group, SME and start-up), I decided to start freelancing in 2021. So I created Akiyo to be able to select my missions and work on projects I appreciate while keeping the possibility of working from anywhere.

I am also a passionate photographer and I have done many shoots with models for several years. This is why I keep offer my services as a photographer for different projects (real estate, portraits, weddings, glamour, etc…) in addition to my main activity.
